Merry Christmas from our little enterprise, Old Growth Art Quilt Design, here in Montana!
Since we work out of our log home in the Northwest Corner of Montana, this is what we have the privilege of enjoying from our deck as 2017 comes to a close.
This past year, Frank and I have a lot to be thankful for. Life has a way of being surreal through the difficult times. Looking back allows one to fully take in what has transpired and fully appreciate the blessings that come from adversity. Like you, your family and friends, we have endured victory and loss, joy and sadness. Most notably this past year was Frank’s heart attack. When it all occurred, we just went through the motions of doctors, exams, hospitals, surgeries and prayer, lots of prayer… Now we can look back and realize how incredibly blessed we are to have more than survived. We have more life to live together and more life to live for. Taking time to enjoy the simple blessings is really the important thing.
We want our business to succeed and will work hard to see that happen but we realize success in life is not measured in dollars. It is a hard adjustment when you are raised in a society where everything is measured in tangibles. That needed adjustment has been welcoming and probably ongoing.
Old Growth Art Quilt Design only released one design in 2017, War Pony. But we are looking forward to finishing a new design that got put on hold and developing a line of products that you will find inspiring and useful. Here is a sneak peek of the new design –
Not much for you to go on but we know and it is exciting for us!
Looking forward to a fulfilling and meaningful 2018! We pray that your life is rich in the “things” in life that can’t be bought and meaningful in the “things” that don’t fade, rust or tarnish from time.
Warmest Regards,
Frank and Katie Bramante
